A pair of cats visited the beach for the first time, leaving people ‘crying’ over how cute they are. It’s not often that you’ll see felines roaming on sand or standing near the sea but one pet owner took his two orange , Cashie and Almond, along with him for a beach day.
He took them to the secluded Princess Beach in, USA rather than a busy, public beach after spotting that there weren’t any signs that said pets weren’t allowed and he also saw some there too. The cat dad posted a video on to share his pets’ experience with others, branding it the “cutest thing you’ll see today.”
He brought Cashie and Almond to the beach in their cat carrier backpacks and set up a large tent on the sand for them. Inside the cats’ tent he placed a bowl of water, a litter tray and a soft toy for them to play with.

The orange felines got comfortable inside the tent before their owner held them in his arms and carried them towards the sea so they could take in their surroundings. Kitted out in sun hats, they had a good look around at the sand and sea.
Cashie was “definitely nervous” while Almond was “loving it” and wanted to get down, according to the cat dad. She is seen in the TikTok video happily walking on the sand and “admiring” the view.
The cats then took a nap in their tent and were fed some treats for being so good. The TikTok clip, posted on Monday, April 21, has already amassed an incredible 2.4 million views, 260,300 likes and more than 700 comments.
One user said: “I’d simply pass away if I saw chonky cats at the beach.” Another added: “If I saw this at the beach I would UGLY cry.”
A third commented: “My heart would EXPLODE with joy if I witnessed this.” A fourth chimed in: “If i saw these babies at the beach I don't think I'd be able to stop crying like actually."
A fifth user shared: “As a cat mom & lover I wish I could see cats on the beach! It would make my heart so happy!”
Others noted how well behaved Cashie and Almond were, such as a user who remarked: “The fact that they are both gingers... and so well behaved, just can’t believe it.” Orange or ginger cats are thought to be more friendly, independent, social, affectionate and risk-takers, compared to cats of other colours, exhibiting ‘orange cat behaviour’, a trend that has been made popular by TikTok.
However, according to science there is no such thing as ‘orange cat behaviour', pet parenting resource reports. Veterinary behaviourist Dr Mikel Delgado told Kinship: “To date, no studies have shown any impact of coat colour on personality in cats.
“There are survey-based studies that demonstrate that humans might think there are differences in cat behaviour or personality based on coat colour, however, no studies to date have found a relationship between coat colour and behaviour by actually testing cats.”
